Your Ethereum / web3 journey:
I learned about Bitcoin around late 2011 / early 2012. I discovered Ethereum in 2014. I began working in decentralized identity in late 2019, but heard about the origins of verifiable credentials in the w3c web payments community group. My first exposure to the distributed space was the linked data and semantic web interest group mailing list. Part of this community worked on personal data stores which also intersects with the decentralized identity community. My motivation to get involved was a research journey to build peer-to-peer software to support peer production.

I have multiple Christmas Tree Breathalyzer Kits. I’m wondering if I should/could bring them to donate, or if I would have the opportunity to recoup the costs. I realize this application is a day late, so this is a general heads up that a few neurons were excited. This is a public feel you out sort of thing. ** When I was signing up for a time with the maker project I was beginning to think from the activity description that it was going to involve music. Almost immediately I turned to Voodoo and Serano. It’s my favorite energizing study music. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=keIPYS0ddLE a.k.a. https://www.beatport.com/track/blood-is-pumpin/76793 An idea, but not a must, would be to work out a way that I could do some fade ins on a mixer of Christmas music into the Blood is Pumping track.

Workshop Title:
Building the Christmas Tree Breathalyzer
Workshop Duration:
15 Minutes
Brief Workshop Description:
walk people through how to put together the christmas tree breathalyzer kit . In reality construction takes several hours, so 15 minutes is just a highlight. Even 90 minutes may not be enough? Alternatively, I may be able to describe this where my maker setup is, neglecting the need of this workshop, and help people construct additional kits somewhere should they wish?
Target Audience:
GA, unless adult beverages are included. In that case, over 21. And, I don’t know if the venue even serves alcohol. [I could bring Listerine Mouthwash, which is what I usually use] This will involve a soldering iron, so 12+(?) I am not the best estimator.
Experience & Qualifications:
I built https://github.com/bshambaugh/ChristmasTreeBreathalyzer and am hosting the maker project described at: https://ethdo.me/application-review/?id=maker-app-e2fe47292 .
Availability:
Sunday, February 23rd, Monday, February 24th, Tuesday, February 25th, Wednesday, February 26th, Thursday, February 27th, Friday, February 28th, Saturday, March 1st, Sunday, March 2nd
