Objective
Encourage BUIDLers to express thanks to the individuals or groups who make their ETHDenver experience exceptional—whether that’s a mentor, an organizer, a new friend, or even a whole project team.
How It Works
1. Identify Who You’re Thankful For
Reflect on your ETHDenver journey. Who’s been a source of support, inspiration, or encouragement?
It might be a speaker whose talk blew your mind, a team that helped you debug your code,
or a volunteer who made your day run smoother.
2. Capture Your Gratitude
Take a heartfelt photo or record a short video message highlighting your appreciation.
If you prefer words, craft a short but meaningful written note—just be sure to get creative!
3. Share the Love
Post your gratitude!
4. Community Engagement
Browse through others’ gratitude posts and drop encouraging reactions or comments.
Make new connections by discovering who else shares your appreciation for certain speakers, projects, or mentors.
5. Claim Your Reward
Every verified gratitude post (photo + the reason why you’re thankful) completes the quest.
Top Gratitude Shout-Outs (most upvotes/likes/reactions) may unlock special perks!
Tips for Success
- Be Specific: Pinpoint what exactly they did that made a difference—did they share a crucial piece of knowledge, offer support, or provide a fresh perspective?
- Be Genuine: Authenticity resonates. Let your appreciation flow in a way that feels natural to you.
- Pay It Forward: Gratitude can spark new connections. If you see someone else’s post that resonates with you, add your own thanks or share a related story.
